Well, the cats have the right idea. It’s cold out, so we should bundle up under as many blankets as we can. Peaches was wondering why I bothered to get out of bed at all, though her brother wanted me to go downstairs and give them the day’s serving of squishy food.
It’s 38°F right now, which is the warmest it’s been in at least a week. We’re predicted to get snow starting tonight and going on all day tomorrow. It’ll be perfect for cozying up in my grandmother’s wing chair in the window with a cup of hot coffee and my e-reader. And thick socks!
I’ve finally begun to have story and plot ideas, after a year of my mind just being unable to focus on much of anything. It’s exciting to feel like I’m getting back to where I should be, writing-wise.
I’ve had some ideas about short fiction to post here, and I’m thinking of starting a serial story to put in my newsletter (and here).
What would you like me to write about?
